Yacht management, refit and new build: a boat that is ready, accounts that are clear.
Crew, administration, accounting, technical, shipyard: I run every department of your yacht and report to you, backed by the Aqua Marine Group teams.

A yacht is a small company: employees, suppliers, regulatory obligations, a budget. Poorly run, she costs more and cruises less. My role is to make sure all you have to think about is your next trip.
I commanded yachts before I managed them. I know what a captain needs, what a shipyard quote is worth and where budgets go astray.
For execution I rely on Aqua Marine Group, in Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Monaco: technical teams, experts and shore services. You keep a single contact.
What I take care of in managing your yacht
Crew
Recruitment, contracts, payroll, rotations and training. A good crew that stays is the first driver of a yacht's value.
Administration and compliance
Flag, certificates, classification, insurance and regulatory obligations according to the yacht's size and use.
Accounting and budget
Forecast budget, expense control, regular reports. You know where every euro goes.
Technical and maintenance
Maintenance plan, warranty follow-up, spare parts supply, winterisation and season preparation.
Refit and new build
Specification, yard tenders, on-site follow-up of works, schedule and costs. For a new build, I act as owner's representative with the shipyard.
Charter management
If you wish to charter your yacht for part of the year: commercial status, calendar, contracts and broker relations.
How I work
Audit
Condition of the yacht, crew, contracts and accounts. I give you a diagnosis.
Budget and plan
An annual budget and a maintenance plan agreed with you.
Day-to-day
I handle daily matters with the captain and the suppliers.
Reporting
Regular accounts and reviews. No significant expense without your approval.
Frequently asked questions about management and refit
From what size should a yacht be professionally managed?
There is no threshold. As soon as a yacht employs crew, flies a foreign flag or goes through a shipyard, the administrative and technical follow-up takes time and calls for experience. Management can be comprehensive or limited to certain departments.
What is a refit?
A refit covers a yacht's major works: paint, machinery, electronics, interiors, compliance upgrades. It is prepared several months ahead and preferably carried out off season. A precise specification and on-site supervision are what keep it on schedule and on budget.
Can I keep my captain and crew?
Yes. I work with your captain, not in his place. He retains command of the yacht; I provide the shore support and report to you.
How do you supervise a new build?
I act as owner's representative with the shipyard: review of the contract and the technical specification, regular yard visits, control of payment milestones, sea trials and acceptance of the yacht.
Can my yacht be chartered to reduce her costs?
Yes, subject to her status and flag. Charter income offsets part of the annual costs; it is wiser to see it as a cost reduction than as a source of profit.
