What is your yacht worth?
An instant valuation from the model, year and length, then my written valuation, based on sales actually concluded.
Your valuation
An order of magnitude computed in your browser from the model, year, length and cabins, for a boat in good condition. It replaces neither a valuation on file nor a marine survey: every yacht departs from the curve according to its history, equipment and the market of the moment.
Method
What the calculation takes into account
The model
The shipyard and model give the length, the range and a reference new price. A full-custom yacht from a major yard depreciates less than a series boat.
Year and refit
A yacht loses most of its value in its first years, then the decline slows. A recent major refit lifts the curve.
Cabins
At equal length, a more generous layout sells better on the charter and family market.
What only a broker sees
Sales actually concluded on comparable yachts, history, equipment, actual condition, season and current demand. That is the purpose of the written valuation, and that is what sets the price.
Frequently asked questions about the valuation
Is the valuation free?
Yes, both the instant range and the written valuation. No account is created; your details are only used to send you the valuation and call you back.
Why a range rather than a price?
Two yachts identical on paper rarely sell for the same price: maintenance history, equipment, flag, VAT status and time of year all weigh on the result. The range brackets what the market pays; the price is set on file.
What if my yacht is very recent or very old?
A yacht under two years old trades close to its new price, less the first-owner discount. Beyond twenty years, value depends almost entirely on condition and works carried out: the calculation becomes very indicative.
How do I get an accurate valuation?
Leave your details at the last step: I examine your file, recent comparable sales and, ideally, the boat itself. You receive a reasoned price and a sales strategy.
