Chartering a Lamborghini yacht in the South of France: what does it cost, exactly?
The calculation, line by line.
- Charter fee: €8,000 excluding VAT
- VAT at 20%: the fee becomes €9,600
- APA at 35%: €2,800
- Total: €12,400
The APA, an advance on expenses
The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is an advance on expenses. It covers fuel in particular. Any unspent balance is returned to you at the end of the charter.
Key point
The advertised price is never the full price: always add VAT and the APA to know your real budget.
